Consultations
Our consulting rooms are designed to be quiet, comfortable spaces where pets (and their people) feel at ease. Whether it’s a routine check-up or a more complex concern, we take the time to listen, examine, and guide you through every step of your pet’s care.
At Medicor, every appointment matters. Our standard 30-minute consultation slots are designed to give us enough time to properly assess your pet, especially in more complex cases — and to help avoid delays for those scheduled after you.
Please note: the consultation fee covers the veterinary service, not the time spent in the room. Some cases take less time, others a little more — the longer slot simply helps us deliver thorough, unrushed care without keeping other clients waiting.
We run consultations Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm, by appointment only. Walk-ins are not supported, as this helps reduce stress in the waiting area and ensures each patient receives focused care. If your dog finds the clinic environment stressful, you’re welcome to request an outdoor consultation, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
We’ll send you a text reminder the day before your appointment, and we kindly ask that you let us know as early as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Missed appointments without notice may be subject to a no-show fee.
While we strive to stay on schedule, emergency patients are always our priority. If there’s a delay, we’ll keep you informed and offer to reschedule if that suits you better.
Payment is due at the time of your appointment, unless we’ve pre-arranged a direct insurance claim on your behalf. Either way, please check out with our reception team before leaving and let them know how you’d like to handle payment.
Out-of-Hours Care
We know pets don’t always stick to business hours, which is why we provide emergency veterinary care outside of our regular opening times. An on-call vet is available for urgent cases when we’re closed.
We also partner with VidiVet, a veterinary tele-triage service offering quick advice and peace of mind when you’re not sure what to do. Access is free for all our registered, active clients.
